Rebels With A Cause

Today started with a wonderful breakfast made by yours truly (Becca is writing this post with Stephanie's help).  We had French toast on yummy cinnamon raisin bread and delicious Winder Dairy milk.

I had to work today so doggie goodbyes were in order.  Of course everyone laughed at me when I spoke in my doggie voice but I didn't care!  Wrigley handled it well but Ellie would not even look at me.
If you look closely, you can see Ellie in the background pouting.

I was just informed that my mom and Stephanie had a nice long nap while I was slaving away for the man.  After nap time my mom loaded up the excited dogs to go to Grandma's Doggie Camp of Fun and Things.

Stephanie enjoyed some quality time with Reba (the TV show not the person unfortunately).  I came home about 2:30 and we hit the Wal Mart for some last minute necessities.  Stephanie bought a fancy new video camera since she forgot her USB cord at home.  I bought us some snazzy luggage tags and batteries that were not the right size for our magnifying glass.  Stephanie says she is sorry so we will forgive her, this time.  Oh yes, and some Dramamine.

Once we returned home I went out and mowed the yard so I would not come home to a jungle.  Then for several hours we tried various activities to pass the time.  Stephanie enjoyed some more television while I paced around the house and the yard and checked and rechecked every room at least 4 times.  This did lead to me finding things I had forgotten to pack so don't judge!  At one point we drove to the library to drop off my cool CD's that I had borrowed and then we went to Sonic which was broken, literally, and we were not able to order anything.  We ended up getting Stephanie a cherry dipped cone that dripped everywhere, especially on her.  She has the shirt stain to prove it.

The time FINALLY came for us to leave for the airport where we are currently writing this post.  I tell you what, night flights are the best!  We spent 3 minutes at check in and 4 minutes getting through security.  We are now people watching which is never boring.  So glad to be getting on the road.  We'll see you all tomorrow!
